Pink Lipstick

It's so pretty that Pink Lipstick!  Whenever I glide it on my lips to give my face that beautiful glow, I look like a different person on the outside and when I take it off, I look so completely different, but my insides remain the same with a heart full of compassion and the glory of the shining forth from the inside out.

Girlfriends Glorifying God with our Gifts

My Dear Sweet Girlfriends,

What gifts have God given you that you should be using to honor and glorify Him?

For me, honoring, loving, reverencing, praising, glorifying and magnifying the name of the Most High is my number one priority.  I delight myself in the Lord, I trust and commit my life to Him and only Him.  I wait on Him all the days of my life, trusting Him to guide, lead, direct, teach and instruct me to do what most people would believe is the impossible.  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

I glorify God and I thank Him for the amazing gifts he has blanketed me with that I use to bring Him honor.  He has so graciously wrapped in a beautiful box, wrapped in his love and filled with gifts of design and writing.  I use my writing to express the way I feel about my Sweet and Precious Lord of Savior, my Prince who gives me Peace, Jesus Christ, the One who laid down His life for me and paid generously paid my sin debt in full; thank you Jesus.

And so it is that I give all honor to God for His Son and my Sweet Savior who saved my life.

I enjoy using my writing and design gifts to create beautiful stories and poems as well as designing true inspirational pieces of artwork that lift, warm, touch and move in ways that are so profound and with colors that seep deep into the soul touching the spirit.   To God be the glory!

The Tomb

At the door of the sepulchre
I kneeled down to pray
On the other side of the stone
Is where my Savior lay.

Sleeping peacefully in the tomb
To rest His stripes and open wounds
I longed to enter this Spirit-filled room.

Patiently I waited for the stone to roll away
But sleep encompassed me
On that Third day
Falling upon me in a comatose way.

As silence melted into the land
Quietly I lay in the Master's hand.

When I was awakened
To the dawn of the day
The door of the sepulchre
Had been rolled away.

Two angels graced my presence
They took me by the hand
And led me into the tomb
To witness the glory
Of the Father's Plan.

A sweet odor of spices
Filled this empty room
And a fine linen napkin
Lay in the sepulchre
In the stillness of the tomb.

At that very moment
I knew I had been given
A new Spirit-filled life
By the rising of the Son
Jesus Christ.

Getting Dressed

Another morning, a new day, I am awakened to the goodness of God's grace and mercy to witness His wondrous works in the earth.  I began thanking Him and praising Him as my feet prepared to touch down on the floor.

I made my way to the ladies room still praising and thanking God, Lord over, in and of my life.  A few minutes later, it was time to get dressed.  God spoke to me and told me what I should wear today; He said to put on the voice of praise and then clothe myself with strength, encouragement, committing and surrendering my life to Him.  I am now ready to go to work in my home office.

I want to share with you the importance of:

Praising God
Thanking God
Blessing God
Reverencing God
Trusting God
Honoring God
Worshipping God
Waiting on God
And keeping your faith in God.

If you're experiencing hardships, persecution, fear, worry, doubt, difficulty, trials and tribulations in your life and you have been praying for God to answer and perhaps deliver you from all your anxieties and you have not heard a word from Him, keep praying, trusting and believing, giving thanks and praising Him for what He is planning to do in your life because He is working even though you may feel that He is not answering your prayers and supplications.  Be faithful to Him as He is to you and He will give you the best for your life. Our God is a loving, caring, patient, understanding and Sovereign God and He loves you despite of your iniquities.  Go to God and repent of your sins and ask Him to forgive you.  Wait on the Lord, be of good courage and He will strengthen your heart; wait I say on the Lord.  So if you're scared and maybe all alone, trust in and wait on God and look up and watch Him work in your life.  You won't be disappointed.  I promise.

Have a blessed and wonderful day in Jesus Christ!

And now may the Lord bless you, and may the Lord keep you, and may the Lord make His face to shine upon you, and may the Lord be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May forgiveness be the law of your life, and may the Lord give to you a life that is as sweet as honey from the honeycomb as you live with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory because you have practiced the truth of God's word: forgive and you shall be forgiven. In the majestic name of Jesus, we pray and ask it.

Crystal Clear Reflections

Dear Lord, In Your hands I see a vision a crystal clear reflection A gift of love Wrapped in hope A vision of my salvation. I see my Savior hanging Quietly on the Cross Laying down His life for me Yes He paid the cost. A crystal clear reflection He glorifies the Father Please forgive them They know not what they do In His final hour. A crystal clear reflection He emerges from the tomb Clothed with the glory He once had Before His mother's womb. A crystal clear reflection He rises with all power in His Hands the Strength of God, The Everlasting Father. A crystal clear reflection My peace for life eternal The Resurrection of my Lord In a crystal clear journal. Written by Cynthia G. Boyer

A Poem

She There she was lying on the ground weeping ever so silently To not be found Her tears moved my spirit As they washed her face I walked in her shoes In this desolate place It's the only way to supply her need To the voice of the Lord I must take heed At God's commandment I planted a seed It grew to fruition In the garden of my heart Grains of hope He did impart With a basket of salvation Clutched in my hand I traced my steps Back to her land There she was In a box she called home Lost and shaken And so all alone Her countenance so sad And the crown of her glory Told me her truth An amazing story My eyes welled with tears From soul gripping fear Our hearts now connected I'll always be near I so desperately wanted to change her life To carve out a path into the Light I came into her presence I am no longer the same She now rests in my spirit And I don't know her name I placed the basket in her hands Yes, she received God's grace, His mercy and plan She drank the wine And she ate the Bread Forevermore my friend has been fed. My precious Lamb, Jesus Christ is the love of my life. He is my all and all. Jesus is my everything. King of kings and Lord of lords, King of Glory, He is to be praised, honored and exalted. It is because of the Savior that I live and breathe. As I live and work as His obedient and most humble servant, I work to help those who may have just a little less than what I have and although we are all blessed, I take those blessings just as Jesus would do and spread them all around fulfilling God's great commission. Blessing the children; those who are hungry, those who are bullied, those who have one parent, those who have no parents, those who cannot read and those who cannot see, and those who have yet to come to the throne of grace. Lifting up the name of Jesus from the depths of my soul and from the bottom of my heart for my life, my family and because I love Him with all my heart, mind, soul, might and strength. He has planted seeds into the foundation of the earth just for me; I continue to grow and blossom in His Name and in His love. To God be the glory!

Girlfriends, I am Glorifying God

Today, February 1, was a very fruitful day. As always, I had access to the heart of Jesus Christ who guided my every move today. My To Do List from our Father was completed and I thank Him for His faithfulness. I, too, will remain faithful to Him. Thank You, Father, for loving me abundantly and for keeping me. I love You dearly. I love You deeply. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

The Potter's Touch

I am a believer, believing I have been conformed to the likeness of Christ. I have taken hold of God's principles, His promises and precepts. His word is my Light and His light is my guide. I follow Him all the days of my life. I have always loved the Lord thy God. Growing up with two Spirit-filled parents, my home was one of genuine and sincere love. My parents' love ran deep and and just like Jesus, they implanted seeds within my spirit that grew in abundance. There was a great harvest in our home, with words of love spoken and demonstrated that I will forever treasure, embrace and will always apply to my life. Those words, like God's word have been an everlasting and true cornerstone in my life, written upon the table of my heart. My parents were the nicest, the most sincere and genuine human beings that ever breathed. My neighborhood family loved spending time in our home because of the warmth that surrounded them the second they stepped into our home. My home was a house, but Jesus, my mother and father made it our home. The aroma of highly nutritious and delicious foods could be inhaled and truly permeated almost every room in our home. Upon us sitting at the table to partake of my mother's cooking, she prepared the best dinners in all the world, I can clearly see my mother making our plates and then sitting down only after her husband, my daddy and her babies were fed. You could taste her love as it warmed my soul and gave energy to an ever-growing little girl. My mother's home made biscuits that she baked on Sunday mornings along with her famous Salmon cakes that complimented her mouth-watering biscuits were a special treat for us. Her caramel pound cake that melted in my mouth before it had a chance to lay completely on my tongue was amazingly delicious. My mother was a stay-at-home mother in every sense of the meaning. She worked in the home laundering our clothes, cooking, washing, sewing and helping me with my homework. I became an outstanding speller because my mother would go over my spelling words with me a hundred times five nights a week so it seemed. I remember sitting at the desk one evening and trying desperately to spell the word FATHER. For some reason, I just could not this word correctly. My mother would become upset each and every time I spelled the word father wrong. She'd become so agitated whenever I spelled that word wrong that she'd be forced to hit my hand. I think she thought that I was not focused or not trying my best to spell the word father right, but I was and I wanted to spell the word right more than she wanted me to spell it correctly. At the last attempt to spell father correctly, wah lah, I got it and from that point forward, my spelling words just rolled off my tongue with no problem; it was a miracle; I became a straight A spelling student. Math on the other hand was another story in itself. And now, here I am; grown with a family of my own. Love is what makes our house a home. With each and every one of us owning a different personality, we respect one another, we love one another and we have been closely knitted together; we are so close that no one can come between us. I cook, I bake and I am over joyed to hear my family say how incredible my food tastes. Like my mother, I try to be a phenomenal mother and human being and like my father, I try to give the best advice that I can and I feel that I do because my advice comes from the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who speaks to my heart. My father has moved; his new address is Heaven. My mother still resides in the house that she and my father so proudly made a home. I thank God for my mommy and daddy. I have yet to meet anyone like them. They remind me of Jesus in so many ways; warmth, peace, joy, laughter and hope in addition to words of encouragement inspired and motivated me to always do the right thing and I pray the same for my children. I feared the Lord because I feared my parents. I had been shaped by four hands that had been blessed by the Potter's Touch. To God be the Glory!

Our To Do List From God; Our To Do List For God

Everyday presents new challenges; some are like earth quaking experiences while others are like a warm spring-summer breeze, easy and yet, like-altering. No matter what the challenge(s), obstacle, trial or tribulation, we, as believers, can often see God's handiwork as He commissions us to fulfill His Will for His glory and to grow a life-changing relationship with Him. Many of the challenges that we are forced to face and perhaps even endure have brought me to my knees in prayer always with thanksgiving and praise to my Lord and Master. Other challenges have gripped my heart, embraced and engulfed me with silence, left me speechless, but in the midst and thru it all, I am able to comprehend the importance of still being able to praise God for being the One Who is always right by my side helping me to weather the storm that rages through my heart, helping me to see a clearer picture of what took place in my life to bring me closer to and glorify the Lord in all that I do - the lesson. Everyday presents new challenges. To stay focused and on track, it is important that we receive our To Do List From God with an open heart and mind. It is also important for us to create our own To Do List for God. You can get your To Do List From/For God soon right here at Girlfriends Glorifying God.
